FanSided Launches iPhone App

No, this isn’t hockey related, but this will probably be the only post on here that isn’t…
I’d like to announce that FanSided.com now has its own iPhone app! Football is the only sport available at the moment, but still – you can check your favorite team’s scores and stats as well as follow your favorite FanSided football blogs. Very cool stuff, and once again – props to the owners of this site for making this work. This site continues to get better and better each day.

Prospects Gear Up For Traverse City Tournament

A few things signal the start of hockey season as we near the month of September. Not only are teams setting up their camp rosters and preparing to hit the ice for practice, but a handful of prospects are getting an early jump on things by participating in the annual prospect tournament held in Traverse City, Michigan. Only eight teams compete in this five-day event – those being the host Detroit Red Wings, as well as the Atlanta Thrashers, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers and of course, your St. Louis Blues. I would like to welcome everybody to the brand new St. Louis Blues blog on FanSided.com! First of all, I would like to thank Adam and Zach Best for setting this up and working as hard as they do.
