I would like to welcome everybody to the brand new St. Louis Blues blog on FanSided.com! First of all, I would like to thank Adam and Zach Best for setting this up and working as hard as they do. They do a great job with this site and I am very excited to be a part of it. They are two extremely nice guys who are always there to answer questions and help out.

I’ve been a big St. Louis Blues fan my whole life so I hope to provide a lot of passion and insight in my blogs here on Bleedin’ Blue. I will write about a variety of stuff including game previews and reviews, player spotlights, analysis on head coach Andy Murray, and much more.

It is a unique time for Blues fans. Just a few years ago we found our team picking first overall in the NHL Entry Draft, and we experienced a three-year playoff drought. But that ended last season when the Blues went from 15th in the Western Conference all the way up to 6th in a matter of just a couple months, so times have certainly changed in St. Louis. The Blues are loaded with good young talent, and with Andy Murray at the helm, they are without a doubt a team on the rise. Heading into this season, I believe the Blues are a legitimate playoff team that has a future as bright as anybody. Preseason hockey is right around the corner, meaning the regular season starts in one month. I’m looking forward to getting this blog rolling and representing some of the best fans in hockey!
