News broke this morning that T.J. Oshie will remain a Blue for at least one more year. The Blues announced they’ve re-signed the forward, and while exact information has yet to be given, it is said they deal is for slightly more than $2.1 million. This is one major signing that the organization needed to complete, so there is some weight off the shoulders, but work is still to be done. Despite Oshie’s off-ice issues, he’s a great asset to the team. Playing in only 49 games last season, T.J. racked up 12 goals, 22 assists, and a +10 rating. Total, he has played 168 games in his career, earning 121 points(44 goals, 77 assists). Only time will tell if this core player can remain healthy and help this team get back into the playoffs.
