Big Walt headed to USA Hall

The United States Hockey Hall of Fame announced it’s Class of 2011. Former Blue Keith

, dang it! Big Walt is hall-bound. Mr. Tkachuk (whew) played nine years with the Blues after being traded from Phoenix. He is one of only four U.S. born players to score 500 career goals. He also played on four U.S. Olympic teams, capturing the Silver medal in 2002.

The others announced today to enter the Hall are Chris Chelios, Mike Emrick, Ed Snider and Gary Suter.

Mr. Tkachuk said “It is an honor and a privilege to join such a prestigious club.” The induction will take place later this year in Chicago.

The Blues website has the complete listings of Keith Tkachuk’s stats. The Melrose, MA native continues to live in Chesterfield, MO and coaches his children in youth hockey. Congrats, Keith.
