Eight To Peoria, Crombeen Breaks Shoulder

The Blues have made made their decision in regards to the goaltending in St. Louis as they have sent down goaltender Ben Bishop to the Peoria Rivermen. Bishop had a solid pre-season but it wasn’t enough to solidify him a spot on the big club this year. This gives the reigns to Jaroslav Halak and Brian Elliot in St. Louis to be the main tandem. Look for the final roster breakdown post talking goalies later this evening.

BJ Crombeen is out indefinitely after suffering his left shoulder scapula fracture. Due to his injury, This pretty much solidifies a roster spot for Evgeny Grachev, Chris Porter, and Ryan Reaves.  Phil McRae, Jonathan Cheechoo, Anthony Peluso, Brett Sterling, Adam Cracknell, Mark Cundari and Ian Cole are also headed to Peoria.
