With Los Angeles’ upset over the Vancouver Canucks, St. Louis is now the highest seed in the Western Conference and is likely the favorite to represent the West in the Stanley Cup Finals. As the highest seed, the Blues will be matched with the conference’s lowest seed, the Kings, in the second round. The Blues and the Kings are hot right now, as both teams won their respective series in just five games. This series looks to be a complete dog fight with three excellent goaltenders and two strong defensive corps facing off. Look for low scores and tremendous goaltending by Jaroslav Halak, Brian Elliot, and Jonathan Quick in the next round.
