Have St. Louis Blues fans started thinking about the 2012-2013 season yet?  In the St. Louis area there was 10 straight days of 100 degree plus temperatures, which does not sound like hockey weather.  As a Blues fan do you know how close the season even is?

Yes it does seem like the Stanley Cup was just raised by the L. A. Kings, but the NHL season is not very far away.  For those reading this and thinking I might be crazy the season really is not far off.

The first pre-season game for the Blues is September 25th.  When you sit and think about it that is not long.  With the Blues roster nearing completion it is not a stretch as a fan to start thinking about the coming season especially considering the sudden end to the post season run.

To give this a little more reality tickets are available now for the upcoming season.  The regular season starts October 11th in Colorado.

Yes it is still summer and it is still baseball season, but just keep in mind Blues hockey is not far away.  A new season and new hopes of a Stanley Cup are not to far away to at least start considering especially for the passionate Blues fans.
