Recently on ESPN.com, there have been a slew of articles referencing the upcoming 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The Canadiens are definite favorites, but the United States is definitely in the running for a gold medal, along with dark horse nations like Russia, Finland, and Sweden. Some of the Blues involved in the United States roster are “lock” David Backes, “projected” TJ Oshie, and “longshot” Jamie Langenbrunner. For Team Canada, only Alex Pietrangelo is projected to make the roster, due to both the insane amount of talent, and the hesitancy to break up a team that won the gold medal in 2010.
