Blues to Have 16 Nationally Televised Games This Season

Provided there is a NHL season this year (please, oh please), the St. Louis Blues will actually be getting a very nice block of national coverage. Last season, with the emergence of the NBC Sports Network, the NHL was widely seen on a greater scale throughout country. This was really fantastic to see, and the Blues actually had a decent amount of coverage. This year, the Blues are scheduled to have 16 of their games aired on the growing network. This includes the Blues’ season opener on Thursday, October 11th against the Colorado Avalanche. The Blues are primed to have an even better year than last year, lead by a group of young and exciting players. Again, the only problem here is that hockey fans are in a treacherous limbo right now and have no clue what is going to happen with the season. If the season happens, it is possible that hockey fans all over the country will fall in love with our team.

NBC and NBC Sports will be broadcasting the Blues 12 times, and the NHL network will cover the other 4 games.
