In the NHL, many questioned how fans would react once hockey was back on the ice, especially in non-traditional hockey markets. While St. Louis may not be the biggest market or may focus more on baseball than hockey, there is no denying that the fans in St. Louis are like non other in the NHL. Just ask all of the St. Louis Blues alumni who choose to live in the city after retirement, even if they didn’t retire as a Blue.
On Sunday the St. Louis Blues opened their training camp to the public and the public showed up. Thousands were in attendance and Coach Ken Hitchcock said the sound was incredible.
