Colin White Signs Pro Tryout Contract with St. Louis Blues

While GM Doug Armstrong has said that he is happy with the current blueliners of the St. Louis Blues, there is always room to improve and add depth.

Today, the St. Louis Blues announced that long time New Jersey Devils denfenseman Colin White would be invited to training camp on a professional tryout contract.

Colin White is 35 years of age and came into the NHL during the 1999-2000 NHL season.  With 794 regular season and 111 playoff games under his belt, White brings experience in the form of 2 Stanley Cups and 12 NHL seasons with him to camp.

Last season White was a member of the San Jose Sharks, playing in 54 games and putting up just 4 points.

Stay tuned for more about this and everything else St. Louis Blues.  As always, LET’S GO BLUES!
