Today, St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong announced that Andy McDonald has been place on injured reserve after suffering a left knee injury. McDonald has been marked as week-to-week with recovery time unknown. Hopefully for the Blues McDonald will be back on the ice in the note soon, but don’t count on that.
Doug Armstrong also announced that Alex Steen was listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury. Earlier we told you about how Steen had fallen on his shoulder and it appears that this is most likely the issue he is dealing with.
In the meantime the Blues had recalled Chris Porter while Vladimir Tarasenko recovers from “some form of concussion” and have now called up Andrew Murray while McDonald recovers. The Blues will take the ice again tomorrow against the Chicago Blackhawks who have yet to lose in regulation.
More as it becomes available.
LET’S GO BLUES!
