Dmitrij Jaskin Will Make St. Louis Blues Debut Tonight

The St. Louis Blues have announced that recently signed and recalled Dmitrij Jaskinwill his NHL debut tonight against the Vancouver Canucks.

In 51 games this season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Jaskin put up an impressive 99 points including 46 goals and 53 assists.  That is an average of 1.94 points-per-game.  Prior to the 2012-13 season, Jaskin was playing in the Czech Extraleague and posted just 12 points in 63 games.

Let’s hope that Jaskin, who has been practicing with the team, will be able to add an extra boost to the St. Louis Blues offense that has struggled of late.
