Vote For St Louis Blues’ Goaltender, Jake Allen In TSN’s Play Of The Year Contest

St Louis Blues’ goaltender, Jake Allen (#34) has had an impressive regular season in 2013 with both the Peoria Rivermen and the St. Louis Blues.  Reflecting back on the regular season, any Blues fan can choose a single moment out of many, where Allen impressed his opponents, team and fans.  Therefore, it comes to us as no surprise that he is currently in the running for The Sports Network’s (TSN) Play of the Year showdown.

Who can forget the February 15th game between the St. Louis Blues and the Calgary Flames?  Jake Allen’s astonishing save in the first period shut down the goal attempt made by Flames’ Defensemen, T.J. Brodie.  Throughout the game, Allen only allowed two goals at the crease and the Blues defeated the Flames with a final score of 5 to 2.

You still have time to vote for Jake Allen, so he can move on to the next level of the Play of the Year competition.  You can learn more about this contest by visiting TSN’s website at http://poy.tsn.ca/. Good luck Jake Allen!
