Daily Poll: What Should the St. Louis Blues Do With Kevin Shattenkirk?

Kevin Shattenkirk has been steadily improving since joining the St. Louis Blues.  After having been acquired in a trade that sent Erik Johnson to the Colorado Avalanche, Shattenkirk has shown that he has the skill to replace Johnson and then some.

Being a restricted free agent at the same time as fellow blue line sensation Alex Pietrangelo raises some questions about the future of Shattenkirk in St. Louis.  Mainly, fans are concerned that the Blues will not have the money to keep both on the squad.

With that in mind, today’s poll ask you what you think the St. Louis Blues should do with Kevin Shattenkirk.

I don’t think the Blues will necessarily be a Cap team this coming season or even the next one, but I do think Army will sign both Petro and Shatty to relatively long term deals

If he does, it looks like he is going to have to move salary. If the Blues decide to part ways with Jordan Leopold then they shouldn’t be in as tough of spot, but they might not be able to keep Berglund and Stewart.

I’m much more interested in keeping both d-men than either Stewart or Berglund, though if I got to choose, I’d hope it’s Berglund who is moved and not Stewart.
