Jaroslav Halak was acquired by the St. Louis Blues in 2010 being hailed as the next franchise goalie, but with injuries aplenty and not being able to play his style of game have kept him from becoming a true number one.

Halak has been vocal about his preference to play behind a loose defense as he finds it difficult to get into his groove when not facing any shots, but has still managed to find success in St. Louis.

Although Halak has been far from awful in his time wearing the Blue Note, many fans are tired of paying him a high salary for being an average goalie.

That brings us to today’s poll in which we are asking you what you think the St. Louis Blues should do with Halak.

I still think Halak is a solid netminder and deserves a shot to lead this team. That said, I would love to lose his salary hit.

      • Lauryn

Yeah, I think he’s a good goalie, hes just always injured.
