Blues select left winger William Carrier after trade

The Blues selected left winger William Carrier after acquiring pick No. 57 from the Edmonton Oilers. The Blues will send three picks to the Oilers (83, 94 and 113).

The Blues will not pick again until the 6th round (No. 173).

Carrier is a 6′ 2″, l98 lb. winger out of La Salle, Quebec.

Carrier led his team, the Cape Breton Eagles, in scoring with 42 points (16 G, 26 A) this past season, while playing only 34 games due to an ankle injury.
