The veteran soul of Ottawa, and long-time team captain apparently told the Senators last night that he intends to move on.
TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie says the expectation is that he’ll sign with the Detroit Red Wings.
In 2013 Alfredsson put up 10 goals and 16 assists in 47 games.
Daniel Alfredsson has played his entire career with the Senators and was drafted by the team in the sixth round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft.
