NHL Free Agency: Nathan Horton Signs with Columbus Blue Jackets

After opting to leave the Boston Bruins after losing in the Stanley Cup Final, it appears that Nathan Horton is on his way to Columbus.

Horton was one of the most sought after free agents in this year’s rush, but has looked as though he was headed to the Columbus Blue Jackets for quite some time.

The Blue Jackets were quick to offer Horton a long term deal as they see him as part of the solution for this team.

In 2013 Horton managed to net 13 goals in 47 games and should add some additional offense to an improving Blue Jackets team.

Horton is just the latest in the Blues Jackets acquisitions.

More as we have it.
