Alex Steen has seen his stock on the rise for a number of years now.  Coming into a contract season, “Steady Steen” as he is being called in the media should be due for a nice raise in the offseason.  It is unknown if the Blues will be able to keep him around, but the consensus throughout the organization seems to be that he is too necessary to the team’s success to let walk.

Steen should have probably been listed higher on this list, but injuries and playing for a smaller market team have left him as a bit of an unknown around the league.  Playing for a contract, Steen has a chance to make a big name for himself in 2013-14.
