Details are still becoming available, but it appears that the St. Louis Blues have acquired Ryan Miller in a deal that involves Jaroslav Halak going the other way. It caused a stir when the Buffalo Sabres yanked Miller off the ice as they prepared for their contest against the San Jose Sharks.
Confirming reports that Ryan Miller is a late scratch tonight. It’s believed that a deal is imminent and STL is the likely destination.

Now it seems that the Blues have a new goaltender.
Don’t know the specifics yet but Miller is going to STL and Halak is going to BUF.

Making things more interesting is the fact that Steve Ott is reportedly going to the same team as Miller.

It’s important to note that none of this is confirmed from either St. Louis or Buffalo right now. Miller does appear to be on his way out of town, but there are some reports on the radio in St. Louis claiming that Halak won’t be heading the other way. We’ll keep you posted as details become available.
