It’s not too tough to look at the St. Louis Blues and their defensemen and determine that they’re of a higher caliber than the group that the Buffalo Sabres put on the ice every night. It’s not taking Ryan Miller too long to figure that out either.
He won his third consecutive game with the Blues since being acquired on February 28 when the team took down the Nashville Predators last night.
That matches the longest winning streak he had in Buffalo all season long. Miller is also facing way fewer shots than he was seeing in Buffalo. In fact, he hasn’t played in front of a defense that has played this well in a few years.
Ryan Miller has faced 25 or fewer shots in all three games with the Blues. He hasn’t had that happen in his career since Dec 2011. #stlblues

Heading into tomorrow’s contest with the Colorado Avalanche, Miller will be looking to win four straight for the first time all season. He’s putting up strong stats for the Blues and is giving them a shot to win every night. He was particularly good late against the Predators as the team pushed for the tying goal.
Ryan Miller is 3-0 with a .921SV% since joining the Blues.
