Unfortunately for the St. Louis Blues, Ryan Miller won’t be able to play as the team’s No. 1 goalie forever. At some point down the road, he’ll be replaced by someone else, and that someone else will have some big skates to fill—at least as far as starting off red-hot in a Blues uniform goes.
Miller has yet to lose a game in regulation for St. Louis, and is making history with his outstanding play.

The deal for Miller and Steve Ott seemingly put the team over the top, as they haven’t left the ice without at least a point since making the additions. That run of strong play has them sitting atop the NHL standings and the Central Division. The veteran goaltender hasn’t simply been the beneficiary of St. Louis’ strong offense. His individual stats with the team are on the ridiculous side.
Ryan Miller is now 7-0-1 with a 1.61 GAA and .933 SV% since joining the #stlblues

Miller will take a loss as a Blue at some juncture, but right now the team is enjoying an awesome string of wins.
