The Jets are literally a middle-of-the-pack team when it comes to goal scoring. They’re 15th in the NHL in average goals scored (2.71) and 11th in terms of average shots taken. Those numbers aren’t overwhelming, but they are a bit misleading. Winnipeg has been a different team since Claude Noel was fired in the middle of January.

Paul Maurice’s attention to detail has changed the way the Jets go about their business, but the Blues are one of the most competent offensive teams in the league. Winnipeg ices several guys that can do damage in the offensive zone, but a healthy St. Louis team would be hard to overcome.

Advantage: Blues
