The St. Louis Blues will open a five-game homestand tonight against the visiting Minnesota Wild. After taking wins in their last two contests, the Blues will look to continue forward in their battle for the top spot in the NHL. The steaks are equally high for Minnesota.

With a six-point lead over the nearest non-wild card squad, Minnesota has some wiggle room for a bad outing or two, but they’ll likely be looking to make a statement against a team they could possibly see in the first or second round.
