The St. Louis Blues are coming off one of their more embarrassing defeats in recent memory—a 4-2 loss at the hands of the Dallas Stars—and veteran Barret Jackman isn’t expecting the homestand to get any easier moving forward. The Philadelphia Flyers are next up for St. Louis, and the Eastern Conference squad has every reason to try to take it to the Blues in this one.
The Flyers are 6-3-1 in their last 10, and are in desperate need of points since they’re entrenched in a battle for a playoff spot in the sardine-packed East.
Jackman expects a rough contest.
Jackman on facing the Flyers tomorrow: “We know it’s going to a tough game right from the drop of the puck.” #stlblues

Philadelphia isn’t known for being an easy team to play against, and it’ll be fun to see how the Blues respond to the constant pressure that the Flyers will show up with. St. Louis should be plenty motivated though after dropping another game on home ice to Dallas.
The Flyers beat the Blues 4-1 0n March 23 in a penalty-filled contest. Philadelphia capitalized on four of their 19 shots, punching holes in Ryan Miller for the first time since he arrived in St. Louis. There’s a lot on the line for both teams, and fans in attendance and watching at home should expect a playoff-like atmosphere for this game.
