The St. Louis Blues have a cast of characters on their own. When you look deeper, many resemble the characters we met in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Say what you will about the film and whether it was a copy of this story or that, it was an enjoyable movie with legions of fans. Much like the Blues, it has it’s faults but is still something that anyone who is loyal to the team/franchise looks past and draws enjoyment from.

Like the Star Wars characters, the Blues have people we love, we like, that inspire and that intimidate.

Like the people from that other galaxy, the Blues have people strong in the force, strong in the dark side and ones we’re awaiting their greatness.

In honor of the home release, whether you’re still a dvd/blu-ray person or on the digital bandwagon, I decided to take a look at the players that most resemble the characters from the latest installment from the galaxy far, far away.

So, without further ado let’s get started on this list of players. So, get your popcorn and settle in. We’re going to take a trip to a time not so long ago in a rink that’s not that far away.
