<p>The St. Louis Blues come back home after losing to the Red Wings in Detroit last night to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins(27-17-4) for the second and last time this year. The Blues won the first contest between the two teams at the CONSOL Energy Center back on November 23th. It was one of the rare occasions this season where the Blues went into overtime and actually came out with a victory off of an Alex Pietrangelo goal.</p>
<p>The Blues are coming off a very disappointing loss on the road in Detroit. St. Louis managed to put themselves on the scoreboard first with a one-timer from <a href="http://blues.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8459687">Scott Nichol</a>, but Howard made sure that would be the only goal to get past him. The Red Wings came out in the second period on a completely different level than the Blues and would play the remainder of the game with a clear advantage.  <a href="http://blues.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8470860">Jaroslav Halak</a> would end up allowing 3 goals, but he is not to blame.
