The team looked like an NFL team without its starting quarterback, aimless and uncertain. While it seemed like depth was the Blues’ strong point, it is less true on the defensive end than at the forward position. The odds certainly aren’t in St. Louis’ favor; teams don’t generally come back from two games down, let alone going into enemy territory. However, while the Blues team we were used to all season didn’t show up the past two games, if they can return to form I have confidence. This is a team that fought back from a bad start to the season under Ken Hitchcock, and I believe he and the team will truly give it their all tonight at 9 Central Time. Here’s to hoping the St. Louis Blues 2012 season will continue on, it just feels too early to call it quits.
