So far this season, Langenbrunner has dressed in four games for the Blues posting just one assist.

Langenbrunner, who will be a unrestricted free agent at the end of this season, signed a one year contract in the offseason to return to the Note for his second year. Surgery will keep Jamie Langenbrunner out of the lineup for the rest of this season.

Recently on ESPN.com, there have been a slew of articles referencing the upcoming 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The Canadiens are definite favorites, but the United States is definitely in the running for a gold medal, along with dark horse nations like Russia, Finland, and Sweden. But, typically, most writers are trying to play upon the Canada-US rivalry that has been the headlining matchup the past few Olympics. Here are the links to some great articles on ESPN -

United States 2014 Roster

Canada 2014 Roster

Some of the Blues involved in the United States roster are “lock” David Backes, “projected” TJ Oshie, and “longshot” Jamie Langenbrunner. For Team Canada, only Alex Pietrangelo is projected to make the roster, due to both the insane amount of talent, and the hesitancy to break up a team that won the gold medal in 2010.
