CHICAGO, IL - APRIL 06: Jaden Schwartz

The St. Louis Blues will have four back to back games in the month of March including a three-game swing on the west coast.

St. Louis will enter the stretch run of the season with games against some of the league’s top teams. Last year, teams the Blues will face in March had a combined record of 590-490-139.

One interesting fact in the March schedule for March is that the Blues will not play the same team twice, St. Louis will play 15 games against 15 different teams during March.

The St. Louis Blues will open up the March schedule with back to back games on the 1st and 2nd. St. Louis will travel to North Carolina to take on the Hurricanes, then will head back home to the Enterprise Center to take on the Dallas Stars.

One of the most challenging portions of any schedule for a team that is not close to the west coast is the dreaded three-game road trip against west coast teams.

St. Louis will play their second back to back of the month when they travel to Anaheim to take on the Ducks, then head to Los Angeles to take on the Kings the next day.

The Blues will wrap up their west coast swing with a Saturday afternoon game against the San Jose Sharks on March 9th.

There will be one home game for the Blues against the Arizona Coyotes before heading back on the road for another three-game road trip. St. Louis will head out to Ottowa to take on the Senators.

The Blues will play their third set of back to back games on the 16th and 17th against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabers. The game in Buffalo will be the first time Ryan O’Reilly will return to Buffalo since being acquired by the Blues in the offseason.

Of the remaining six games in March for the Blues, four of the games will be at the Enterprise Center. Connor McDavid and the Oilers will come to town, followed by the Red Wings, Lightning, and Golden Knights.

The final set of back to back games will take place on the east coast against the Rangers and Devils. It will be the fourth and final set of back to back games in March.

St. Louis will only play four games in April including three home games and a back to back against the Blackhawks and Flyers.

The Colorado Avalanche will come to St. Louis on April 1st and if the Blues are in the same situation they were in last season, it could be an important game to make up ground in the standings.

Another set of back to back games awaits the Blues on April 3rd and 4th. St. Louis will travel to Chicago to face the Blackhawks before returning home the next day to take on the Flyers.

The Blues will conclude the season on Saturday, April 6th against the Canucks. This could be a monumental game for the Blues. St. Louis was one point shy of entering the postseason in 2017 and if the same situation arises, Vancouver should not pose that much of a threat late in the season.
