The St. Louis Blues had big aspirations going into the 2018-19 season. For a bunch of reasons, including individual performances, the team has not had the start anyone hoped for.

It goes without saying that the St. Louis Blues thought they were going to be competing for the top spot in the division in 2018-19. Right now, it looks like they are more likely to be competing for the top draft pick in the summer of 2019.

Clearly, the players still have plans to turn things around, especially after the team’s coaching change. Whether that happens or not will be up to them. They still have a lot of coming together to do because even when healthy, the Blues have not played as well as they should or can.

Now, those that read my articles regularly know that I usually don’t like to point the finger. I usually see things as being a team issue or a certain section within a team, such as the defense or offense or power play, as the case may be.

That said, it has been easier to look at certain individuals and wonder just what is going on this season. So, with that in mind, we look at the five biggest turkeys of the St. Louis Blues 2018-19 season so far.

None of this is to say these are guys that need to be traded or benched or whatever. I leave that up to you all. These are just the guys that are not having good years to this point.
