The 2011 NHL Entry Draft was one of the most successful drafts the St. Louis Blues produced. Let’s take a look back and see how the 2011 draft class turned out.

The St. Louis Blues made eight selections during the 2011 draft, and a handful of them turned out to be productive NHL players. They did, however, have a few swing a miss picks that turned out to be big busts.

There were some major contributors to the Blues Stanley Cup run that came out of this draft. With key players Jordan Binnington and Joel Edmundson coming out of the 2011 draft, St. Louis set themselves up for internal success.

St. Louis made eight selections during the draft, including three second-round choices. The team was without a first-round pick, but that didn’t stop the Blues from an A+ draft.

The 2011 draft was undoubtedly one of the most significant and impactful drafts in franchise history. Without it, St. Louis may still be searching for their first Stanley Cup.
