In an effort to deliver our readers what they want and enjoy reading about we recently conducted a poll on Twitter with three different options for article topics. Here are those results….

On November 15th we posted a poll that gave you the readers an opportunity to tell us at Bleedin Blue what you wanted to see more of in future articles. The turnout was decent and has given us here at Bleedin Blue a little insight into what we can do to deliver more to you what you like to read.

You can see the results of the poll here. In the poll, we asked what you would like to see for future articles and the options and results were as follows:

  1.  Pre-game Reports                                17%
  2.  More Analytics based Articles           53%
  3.  Mailbag Article                                       31%

Now for those of you that are math wizards, I already know that they add up to 101%. Thank you for noticing. I can only assume that pre-game reports were 16.5% and Mailbag was 30.5% rounding them up.

In any event, I am currently discussing with the team here an analytics-based article to post every two weeks during the season.

Every two weeks should give a little time between reports to hopefully see any changes. Earlier in the season, the numbers will shift more drastically as the data is small, but as the season progresses the swings should lessen as the data is more abundant.

We are also going to conduct a Mailbag article. This will require the readers to submit their questions, or statements directly to the Tweet we send out each month. You can direct these questions to the team, or to individual contributors at Bleedin Blue through the Bleedin Blue Twitter account.

We will select a handful to respond to and then respond to each in another article. The title will be announced in the first Mailbag Tweet.

We are always looking to deliver content to our readers that they enjoy, agree with, and even contest. If there is anything, in particular, you would like to hear from us or read about please comment in the article and we will do our best to provide a response.

We look forward seeing and answering your questions. It’s the readers that make this site great and I for one am ecstatic at the opportunity to bring you the readers the content you desire! The Blues take on hometown hero and the Tampa Bay Lightning this evening at 7 pm (CST).

Doug Armstrong will be presenting The Big Rig with his Stanley Cup Champion ring before the game! Enjoy the moment Big Rig and I hope the fellas have a couple face washes for you in the game!
