FanSided Daily has recently released its Top 250 Fandoms list and the St. Louis Blues Fans have arrived at #31 overall and tops in the NHL! No surprise. Am I right!?
Seriously though, the fact that the Blues Fandom has been voted the top fan base in the NHL is quite the accomplishment! We are all very well known to be a baseball city and love our Cardinals.
When the Top 250 list was released, you can see it here, I fully expected the Blues fans to finish below the Cardinals and probably within the top 10 of the NHL teams. I was a little shocked and happily so to see that not only did the Blues fans finish ahead of the Cardinals, but we finished tops in the entire NHL!
We should all be proud and grateful for the well-deserved acknowledgment. It’s been quite the year for the Blues and their fans. We have witnessed miracles and had the opportunity to show the world that we all truly do Bleed Blue!

The next closest NHL team on the list was the Toronto Maple Leafs Fans at 59.
The St. Louis Cardinals Fans finished at 73 overall and 5th in baseball, but we all know we’re the best fans in baseball. LOL!
Truly though, the Blues fans deserve the high marks and even though I was pleasantly surprised at the recognition I for one find it very well deserved!
No fanbase has been so dedicated through thick and thin the way the Blues’ fans have been. From near sells, to complete sell-offs. President Trophy to gut-wrenching first-round exits. Consecutive playoff appearance streaks, to a rebuild. Finally from worst to Stanley Cup Champions.
No fanbase from my perspective and I am biased here, but no fanbase has persevered through more than we all have and it feels good to be validated and recognized by the FanSided team!
Congratulations Blues Fans! We, like the team, sit atop the NHL and deservedly so! The Blues are facing some adversity currently. We all do. One thing I know about us in St. Louis is we stick together and we always, always persevere in the end!
