Halloween events are hard to come by with everything going on in the country. The St. Louis Blues are doing what they can with their own event.

Halloween is typically during the St. Louis Blues season, with hockey in full swing for a few weeks. The Blues are known for their Halloween events, with fans normally encouraged to wear costumes to the game closest to the Fall holiday.

2020 being what it is, there will be no game anywhere close to Halloween. The world still being in the state it is, there are fewer and fewer Halloween events for kids to attend to find some semblance of normalcy.

With that in mind, the Blues are stepping up. The Blues mascot Louie and the Blue Crew are hosting a Halloween Skate on October 31.

The team’s press release just says tickets are $15 per person, so there does not seem to be an age limit. There are limits to the amount of people allowed to attend, however, so jump on the offer while it is around.

There were originally three sessions available, but the late-afternoon session from 4-5:30 is already sold out. There are two sessions remaining from 5:10-6:40 and 6:30-8.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume. Unfortunately, masks will be required to gain entry to the building, as per regulations.

Still, it is good that the team is trying what they can to bring the community together. These are odd times where we don’t know when the next season will begin and the timing of everything is completely off.

The fact there is still some way to make things feel normal is something fans should jump on. The skate will be held at the Centene Community Ice Center. Tickets are available at the link above.
