After what has seemed like an eternity since their last game, the St. Louis Blues are back in action after four days off as they play host to Central Division rival Arizona Coyotes at the Enterprise Center.

The St. Louis Blues have started the 2023-24 season on a high note after recording three points in two games against teams who advanced past the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs a season ago.

Despite recording points in both games this season, offense has been the biggest area of concern for the Blues early on in the year. St. Louis has failed to score more than one goal in each of the team’s first two games.

During an eventful practice leading up to the contest against Arizona, head coach Craig Berube experimented with some forward line shuffling, which was going to happen anyway with the injury to star Pavel Buchnevich.

As for the Arizona Coyotes, the team will wrap up a season-opening four-game road trip on Thursday in St. Louis. They captured a shootout victory on opening night against the New Jersey Devils and then dropped the next two games in the tri-state area against the New York Rangers and New York Islanders.
