The St. Louis Blues look to make it a back-to-back sweep with a big tilt against Montreal at the Enterprise Center. Another early start of 3 PM Central Time, this is going to be a quick turnaround for the home squad.

It was a monumental 4-3 win against Vegas, and it took just about all 60 minutes to grab the two points away. Let's take a look at who needs to step up against Montreal to make it two wins in a row.

Justin Faulk

The leading scorer of the Blues is none other than defenseman Justin Faulk. He notched his 11th goal of the season yesterday in a big moment of the game, and continues to prove the doubters wrong. As we have eclipsed the halfway point of the season, he is on pace to crush his career-best of 17 goals, which he did in 2016-17 with Carolina.

Faulk continues to push the narrative that he is worth more on the team than as a trade chip. It now makes another defenseman of this core group expendable, in Team Canada representative Colton Parayko. Can Faulk get another goal against Montreal, which has the third-worst save percentage in the NHL at .883?

Jordan Kyrou

With two goals in his last 15 games, Jordan Kyrou has been a ghost for the Blues. That has to change, and what better opportunity than against a suspect goaltending group in Montreal? If there was ever a moment for Kyrou to shine through for the 2025-26 season, this is it.

The chances have been there, and even a penalty shot against Vegas. But the finishing has not, and the impact of Kyrou not being his usual self has squandered the Blues' chances at winning games. Can Kyrou finally get it going?

Jordan Binnington

After Joel Hofer did his job against Vegas, it is likely going to be Binnington's turn in the net. It has not been confirmed, but it is anticipated that, given the closeness of games, a goalie switch is happening. Binnington's last outing was not ideal, with six goals allowed on 43 shots against Colorado. It was a firing squad, and the rest of this Blues team did not do much to cover their goaltender, but the performance was terrifying for those who will support Team Canada at the upcoming Olympics.

Can Binnington put in a solid performance against Montreal?
