The St. Louis Blues are getting ready to finish their three-game Western Conference road trip with a visit to Dallas to face the Stars on Friday night. The Blues are coming off rough back-to-back losses on this trip, but can turn it around against one of the Central Division's best.
Here are three players that could be x-factors in this game.
Jordan Kyrou
With the lone goal in the Blues' most recent loss to the Winnipeg Jets, Jordan Kyrou was finally able to get on the board after a 13-game goalless streak. The Blues have been missing No. 25 on the scoresheet, and it could have finally been the thing to turn his season around.
Can Kyrou make it two-in-a-row?
Pavel Buchnevich
It is painfully obvious what General Manager Doug Armstrong needs to do with forward Pavel Buchnevich. Each and every game leading up to the Trade Deadline in March is going to be make-or-break for him, as his time as a Blue might be running out shortly after his new $8 Million AAV deal kicks in.
Buchnevich has been on a downward swing in recent years, can he turn it around with alot of hockey left in 2025-26?
Justin Faulk
Another Blue that is seemingly on everyone's trade board, Justin Faulk, has been great for this team in 2025-26. But, as Father Time is catching up with him, and the uncertainity of this franchise's future, it might be nearing the end for No. 72, as well. Faulk currently has the biggest return value, and this Dallas team could use a right-handed defenseman like him for their playoff push.
