After going 1-1-3 over the five-game season-long road trip, the St. Louis Blues were able to enjoy Thanksgiving at home and now face off against the Ottawa Senators on home ice.
Here are 3 players to watch for in this contest, as the season continues to slowly slip away from this once playoff-hopeful franchise. At 7-10-7, it isn't over yet, but they need to start grabbing any wins they can get.
Jordan Kyrou
Currently on a six-game streak of being goalless, Jordan Kyrou has to be a player to highlight in this one. Ottawa is a respectable 13th in the NHL when it comes to goal scoring, so that means the Blues' top goal scorers need to be on their A-game.
Kyrou joins Pius Suter, Justin Faulk, Dylan Holloway, and Jake Neighbours at the top of the goal list for the Blues this season, all with six goals apiece. Can Kyrou break free of the tie and put in a solid effort against the high-powered Senators?
Cam Fowler
After his best game of the 2025-26 season against the New Jersey Devils, Cam Fowler has to have a repeat performance against the Senators. Facing off against the potential return of Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stützle, defense is a priority, but so is moving the puck up the ice with speed.
Fowler scored his first goal and was the second member of this Blues team to reach double-digits in assists, joining Robert Thomas. It has been a rough year for Fowler, but he has shown signs during this road trip that he is getting back to his old self.
Robert Thomas
Speaking of Thomas, he is the final member of the Blues to watch for. If the Blues want to have any chance of winning, they are going to have to score goals and get over the hump of two goals, which was the only amount this team could score over the five-game road trip.
Thomas helps with that aspect, and the pressure is building. Can Thomas use his elite playmaking ability to beat the Senators?
