During the second period of the St. Louis Blues contest against the Montreal Canadians, there was a defining moment that should be showcased here. With goaltending in question all season, the best save of the year just happened, and it kept the Blues in the lead, 3-2 through 40 minutes.
Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington, who has been holding his own against a ferocious Canadiens offensive unit, had to use every inch of his legpad to make a season-saving save.
Check out this beauty.

Binnington needs to win this game, and give himself a much-needed confidence boost. After Joel Hofer stood on his head last night against Ottawa, in that 2-1 victory that the Blues had to survive for 60 straight minutes, Binnington has to reclaim his spot as this team's go-to goalie.
This save has currently saved the game, and if the Blues pull out this win, it could have saved this season.
