The St. Louis Blues appear to be going back to their "throwback" uniforms, after making the change for the 2025-26 season. The change will hopefully bring some old luck, as this team desperately needs some assistance on home ice.

The best part about this recent change, though likely going to be for one game right now, is the social media interaction of it. The Blues official X account, as they do each time a new jersey is used, changed their profile picture to the iconic Blue Note used since 2008 through the end of last season.

What would follow is some clever fan interactions in the comments, which are definitely worth highlighting. Let's go over a few of them.

Bringing them back full-time?

This is a funny one, as everyone was buzzing about the recent rebrand for the Blues. Fans fully endorsed the change and complimented the Blues brass in making such a big change when this team is turning the corner on a new era.

Could you imagine the possibility of scraping the whole concept of the rebrand if the "old uniforms" spark a win against Dallas?

Should've never changed?

Once again, another fan is going back on the new uniforms and logo change. With as many people who endorsed the change over the summer, there are some generational fans who still hold on to the old look.

A new rebrand?

This might have won the comment of the day, as it is a perfect sarcastic remark. Many teams around the NHL got a new look this season, with several teams hitting the Centennial mark of their franchise, others debuting third jerseys as a surprise for fans, and then nearly every team endorsing their throwback uniforms for special occasions.

The Blues are no different, as this was planned when the season was announced. But still, it is witty that the thought of a long-term rebrand could be to bring back the uniforms used from 2008 through 2024, especially when you think of what was accomplished with that version of the Blue Note. The big highlight there is the Stanley Cup in 2019.
