The St. Louis Blues look to continue their four-game point streak with their next stop on their four-game western road trip. This time, they visit the Calgary Flames, who won an absolute tear-jerking and emotional game against the Columbus Blue Jackets in the Memoriam game of Johnny Gaudreau.
This will be a tough test for the Blues, who have been feeling themselves lately. They have been on fire over the past four games offensively, and it doesn't look like they will be slowing down against the Flames. One thing standing in their way though, is that Calgary is deadly at home, with a 10-3 record at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Saddle up, this is going to be a fun one.
Who to watch for?
The Blues have been great on the offensive end of the ice, so that is once again the focus on this one. Jake Neighbours, Jordan Kyrou, and Dylan Halloway have been on a tear recently, so there are three players to watch in this one. The hope is that Pavel Buchnevich will be ready to go in this one, after missing the last few games with a lower-body injury.
Additionally, the two representatives for the 4 Nations Face-Off next year are also expected to be ready to go in this tilt. Defenseman Colton Parayko and Goaltender Jordan Binnington, who will represent Team Canada, will be difference makers.
This is a good game for Binnington to keep his season on the right track, as he gave up the game-winner against the Philadelphia Flyers in overtime in his last start.
The puck drop is set for 9 PM Eastern, and it will be broadcast on ESPN+.
