The St. Louis Blues made a trade with the Washington Capitals for some defensive depth. With issues on the third-line pairing between the lackluster play from Logan Mailloux and Matthew Kessel, there might be a returning face slotted into the lineup soon.
Calle Rosen, who was apart of the Blues organization from 2021-24, was acquired from Washington in exchange for Corey Schueneman. At the moment, Rosen will report for the AHL squad, the Springfield Thunderbirds, but that might not be a permanent landing spot for him.
It should be expected that Rosen make his Blues debut at some point in the next few games, to help smooth out the defensive woes this season. Rosen has experience in the Blue Note, with 49 games played, eight goals, and 10 assists to his name.
