Tonight, there is a special game about to be played at the Enterprise Center. Yes, the St. Louis Blues have their season series finale against the San Jose Sharks, but there is a bigger story here.
It is Hockey Fights Cancer night for the Blues.
Every team in the league does their special rendition of this, and it never fails to disappoint. With that said, let’s get into tonight’s preview.
Season series finale
The Blues took the first game against San Jose on October 10, 5-4, and then the second game on November 21, 3-2. Tonight is the last time these teams will play each other for the rest of the season. For the Blues, they are looking for a sweep.
All eyes are going to be on the dynamic 1-2 punch in Dylan Holloway and Robert Thomas. These two are on fire lately, with Holloway scoring the game-winner in their west coast finale on December 10 in Vancouver and Thomas riding a four-game point streak.
The Blues are also finally back home, after securing three out of four games in their recent road trip. They are 5-6-1 at home on the season, so this game is a very important one.
Their opponent, the Sharks, who currently sit very nearly at the bottom of the Pacific Division have lost three straight. They are actively seeking answers, as their rebuild continues to carry on.
The puck will drop at 8:00 PM EST, and you can watch it on FanDuel Sports Network Midwest.
