The St. Louis Blues' prospect pool is spread across more than 10 leagues on two continents, and this week nearly all of them had a player in action. College hockey and the AHL opened their seasons, the Swedish and Swiss leagues kept rolling, and the KHL is well into its schedule.
Among the top producers this week, 2026 7th-round pick Colin Fitzgerald and 2025 1st-round draft pick Justin Carbonneau were among the top point producers for the week.
Here's a look to the latest news, notes, and happenings from around the pipeline this past week.
NHL
Theo Lindstein (D)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 0g, 1a | 1pt | 1 SOG
Lindstein picked up an assist in his two NHL appearances to kick off the week, finishing with a plus-1 rating. He logged roughly 30 minutes of total ice time across the two games and is off and running as a full-time NHLer.
Adam Jiricek (D)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 0 pts | 3 SOG
Across his NHL debut games, Jiricek played about 36 minutes, including time on the second power play unit. He put three shots on net and finished as a minus-1 rating. The rookie could have had a goal in his debut game but was called back for offsides. While the points haven't come yet, he is showing all the signs of the special things that could come from the young defenseman.
A traditional unlike any other. Congratulations on your NHL debut, Adam Jiricek. #stlblues pic.twitter.com/4C3mYPOfVV

Zach Dean (C/W)
Week Stats: 1 GP | 0g, 0a | 0pts | 0 SOG
Appearing in the second game of a back-to-back set, Dean made his season debut in Colorado skating 12:37 on the fourth line and finished as a minus-2 rating with four penalty minutes. He was quiet on the scoresheet but will certainly need to do better to remain in the lineup in his next opportunity.
KHL
Matvei Korotky (C)
Week Stats: 1 GP | 0g, 1a | 1pt
Season Stats: 9 GP | 3g, 4a | 7pts | 15 SOG
With less than 10 games played, Korotky currently leads all prospects in the Blues pipeline with seven points in nine games played, and he's done it in one of the world's toughest leagues to play in. To date, Korotky is fifth on his team in scoring, and fifth in the KHL among all U21 players.
Dmitri Buchelnikov (RW)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 0g, 1a | 1pt
Season Stats: 11 GP | 4g, 1a | 5pts | 26 SOG
Buchelnikov added one assist in two games this week and continues to be one of the most shot-happy forwards in the pipeline. His 26 shots on goal are among the top players on his team.
Swiss NL
Lars Steiner (RW)
Week Stats: 3 GP | 1g, 1a | 2pts
Season Stats: 12 GP | 2g, 2a | 4pts | 22 SOG
Steiner is beginning to heat up in the NL with a goal and an assist this past week across three games played. He's played 12 games in the Swiss NL now, one of Europe's strongest leagues. With four points in 22 shots, he's still looking to cash in on his shooting volume. Steiner is currently eighth in points among all U21 players in the Swiss NL.
AHL
Justin Carbonneau (RW)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 2g, 1a | 3pts | 5 SOG
Carbonneau could not have asked for a better start to his pro career. He scored once in each of his first two games of the season, including the opening goal of the Thunderbirds' season. With five shots in two games, he's already showing his head coach, Steve Ott, that he is willing to shoot as well as pass to create offense for his team. He's already looking comfortable against pro competition.

Aleksanteri Kaskimaki (LW)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 0g, 3a | 3pts | 3 SOG
Entering into his third season with the Thunderbirds, Kaskimaki has three assists under his belt while sharing a line with Carbonneau on the opposite wing. He has not found the back of the net himself, but he is helping drive the offense around him.
Otto Stenberg (LW)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 1g, 0a | 1pt | 2 SOG
Stenberg grabbed an empty-net goal on Sunday and has registered two shots on goal in his first two AHL games of the season. He got his first goal out of the way early and should hopefully settle in. The Thunderbirds forward lineup is loaded and he will need to do all he can to push himself to earn more ice time above some of the veterans in the lineup.
Will Cranley (G)
Week Stats: 1 GP | 0 GA | 24 SA | 24 SV | 1.000 SV%
Earning his first shutout in the AHL, Cranley can go to sleep happy knowing his stat line reads "perfect" after his first game of the season. It's a small sample, but flawless, giving him a reason to be happy for both him and his team.
HockeyAllsvenskan
Love Harenstam (G)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 7 GA | 63 SA | 56 SV | .889 SV%
Season Stats: 7 GP | 16 GA | 159 SA | 143 SV | .899 SV%
Harenstam saw 63 shots against in two games this week, which is more than enough of a workload for the 19-year-old. Through six games this season, he has the third-most saves in the league (143), while sporting the 10th-best Goals Against Average and is one of seven goaltenders in the league so far to record a shutout.
Marcus Gidlof
Week Stats: 2 GP | 2 GA | 8 SA | 6 SV | .750 SV%
Season Stats: 6 GP | 8 GA | 72 SA | 64 SV | .889 SV%
Gidlof only saw eight shots against over two appearances this week, and so a couple of goals against really pushed his save percentage down sharply. He is tied with Harenstam for wins (3) in the league so far, and the eighth-best goaltender in GAA (2.40) early in the season.
NCAA
Tynan Lawrence (C)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 2g, 1a | 3pts | 10 SOG
What a start to the season for the Blues' 2026 11th overall draft pick, scoring two goals and an assist in two games to start the NCAA season. He now has 10 shots and a plus-three rating in his first two games and is looking right at home against college competition.

OHL
Carter Stevens (C/RW)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 1g, 1a | 1pts | 8 SOG
Season Stats: 6 GP | 2g, 4a | 6pts | 17 SOG
Stevens added two more points this week and now sits at a point per game pace through six games with Guelph. He managed to land eight shots on goal in two games and is a plus-2 on the season, all while playing on the third line.
Colin Fitzgerald (RW)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 3g, 0a | 3pts
Season Stats: 6 GP | 3g, 3a | 6pts | 22 SOG
All three of Fitzgerald's goals this season have come this week, with one coming on the man-advantage. He is among the top shooters in the pipeline with 22 shots on goal so far this season. The Blues' 2026 7th-round pick has a minus-1 rating, but is already well on his way to crush his 2025-26 point totals of nine goals and 22 points in 39 games with the Soo.
QMJHL
Maddox Dagenais (RW)
Week Stats: 2 GP | 0g, 1a | 1pt
Season Stats: 4 GP | 2g, 3a | 5pts | 20 SOG
The Blues' 16th overall selection in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft now has five points and 20 SOG in his first four games of the QMJHL season with the Quebec Remparts. He is a plus-2 and among one of the busiest and arguably best shooters in the organization's pipeline. He's driving the play for his team and consistently an offensive threat when he is on the ice. Expect the goal-scoring to pick up, as Dagenais is bound to start picking up some better puck luck in the coming games.
