Blues top prospect scores miraculous goal to keep his team in Junior playoffs

In the Canadian Hockey League playoffs, things are heating up. Much like the NHL playoffs, there have been some incredible moments.

The St. Louis Blues have a number of prospects in the CHL, and one player in particular has really stoeln the show for his Juniors team. 2025 first round pick Justin Carbonneau just scored a miraculous goal to push his team, Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, to game seven of the second round.

I mean, come on. Look at the celly from this kid, and what kind of aura he brings to the Blues in the near future.

Carbonneau set the junior hockey world on fire this season, after posting a really good training camp and preseason with the Blues. All signs are pointing toward 2026-27 being the emergence of one of the most hyped prospects we have seen in a very long time.

During these playoffs, Carbonneau has eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points but his absolutely dominating with a staggering 76 shots on goal. It is clear that he wants to lift that QMJHL playoff trophy before he makes the jump to the NHL-level.

With a game seven on the way for the Armada and Carbonneau, expect him to really put on a show. All eyes are on the Blues top prospect, and his clutch factor is no being determined. Following this, it will be interesting to see if his arrival to the Blues will come true, as a trip to Springfield and the AHL is likely not going to be necessary.
