With 14 games left in the St. Louis Blues regular season, there are 10 more opponents to face. Each of these opponents has faced off against the Blues already this season, with varying results in favor or against them.

Today, the goal is to rank them in terms of easiest match-up through hardest. According to Tankathon.com, the Blues have the easiest schedule left to play this season, meaning they hold a double-edged sword. They have an easy path to the playoffs, but all the pressure is on them to not screw up a golden oppurtunity.

Let's rank these last nine opponents, shall we?

10. Chicago Blackhawks

In the ninth and last position, it is the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blues have dismantled the original six team from Illinois all season long, posting a 2-0 record. The highlight game this season between the two teams was on New Year's Day in Chicago at Wrigley Field for the Winter Classic, in which the Blues won handily, 6-2. Their last meeting of the season will be on March 22.

9. Nashville Predators

This is going to be a fun series of games for the Blues, as they have three more meetings in the last 14 games against the Nashville Predators. These two teams met in a 7-4 Blues victory back in late December. If you wanna talk about taking advantage of an opponent and grabbing as many points as possible, this is a potentially six-point swing for the Blues.

8. Seattle Kraken

With two of the three games already played this season, the Blues have one more meeting with the Seattle Kraken this season. The Blues took both of the first two games, with a staggering 10-4 goal differential in both games. Once again, this is one that cannot get away from them.

7. Pittsburgh Penguins

These two clashed recently in a 5-3 Blues loss a few nights ago. This clash is important for both teams, as it will happen on April 3 in the middle of the wildcard push. Pittsburgh is also trailing in the eastern conference, with their eyes on making their bid for the playoffs.

6. Detroit Red Wings

Now is when it gets interesting. The Detroit Red Wings are neck-and-neck with the Blues in the standings, and they are just a few wins away from overtaking the final spot in the Eastern Conference wildcard race. This season, the Blues shut the door with a 4-0 victory, with Jordan Binnington in net.

5. Utah Hockey Club

The rest of the teams on this list are either right in the playoff hunt with the Blues, or are distinguished members of the 2024-25 Stanlet Cup Playoff pool. These are must-win games, to prove they are worthy of being in the big dance. Utah currently sits at 71 points, just two behid the Blues. This season, the Hockey Club has had the upper-hand in the first three games, taking two out of the first three over the Blues.

4. Vancouver Canucks

The team that everyone is chasing in the wildcard sweepstakes. The current occupier of the second wildcard spot in the Western Conference is the Vancouver Canucks. Through the first two meetings, the Blues and Canucks have split both meetings. It all comes down to this one, with these two being so close in the standings.

3. Edmonton Oilers

The next three opponents are the cream of the crop and all a part of the upper-tier of the NHL. These will be difficult, but winnable games. Starting with Edmonton, the Blues have faced the Stanley Cup runner-ups twice and have an 0-1-1 record. It is always a tough battle whenever you face off against the 1-2 punch of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Their last meeting of the season will be on April 9.

2. Colorado Avalanche

The idea of St. Louis being anything other than a wildcard team may sound ludicrous, but there is a very real chance they can be so much more. As of now, the difference between the Blues and the Colorado Avalanche is 12 points, and there are still two more meetings between the two. Of course, that is only a four-point swing, but that could be enough in the right scenario. Colorado is a solid team, and once again, a high favorite to win the Stanley Cup.

1. Winnipeg Jets

Of all of the teams, the hardest team the Blues will have to face off against for the rest of this season will be the Winnipeg Jets. In all likelihood, the Jets will win the Central Division, have the best record in the Western Conference and will likely be the 2024-25 Presidents’ Trophy winners. This season, the Blues and Jets have faced off three times and the Blues have a record of 1-1-1. If the Blues want to be the best, they have to beat the best.
