As the final stretch of the season is about to begin, the St. Louis Blues have a tough road ahead of them. With a near month-long homestand in front of them, starting tonight against the Edmonton Oilers, they are going to get back one of their best defensemen.
Nick Leddy is back (from being on Injured Reserve since October 22. He last played for the Blues 49 games ago, when he was hurt whilst playing the Minnesota Wild.

The 33-year-old defenseman will be lined up next to Ryan Suter on the third defensive line. This is a big help, but not to say that Tyler Tucker hasn’t been great in his own right this season. Once Tucker is healthy again, and depending on how Leddy does in his return tonight, will leave the Blues in a tough spot.
Even still, having him back in the lineup is a good thing for the Blues. We will see just how game-ready he is, tonight against a great Oilers team.
