There are a lot of things that can be said about T.J. Oshie and his miraculous career. From being drafted by the St. Louis Blues in 2005 with the 24th pick, to winning the greatest trophy in this sport with Washington in 2018, what a career it has been.
There were a lot of smiles and great memories throughout @TJOshie77's seven seasons in St. Louis and 16 in the NHL. Congratulations on a great career and enjoy retirement, Osh! pic.twitter.com/lT9n7BNQFw

His start in the ‘Lou was only the beginning, and we all could see that he would be something special. In seven seasons wearing the Blue Note, he appeared in 443 games. Oshie scored 110 goals and added 200 assists in that time, totaling 310 points.
Oshie then took his talents to Washington and was an integral part of their organization for nine seasons. When the Caps won the cup in 2018, his eight playoff goals and 13 assists were huge for them.
In international play, there have been incredible moments for USA hockey. There is the “Miracle on Ice”, Team USA winning the IIHF World Championships a month ago, and nearly the tip of that iceberg, Oshie’s unforgettable shootout against Russia at the 2014 Olympics.
Instead of writing it out, let’s all sit back and re-watch what made Oshie a legendary figure in hockey history.

Scoring 51.8% of the time on 85 shots in his career, Oshie solidified his place in hockey history as one of the most lethal shootout artists with this performance while the world was watching #stlblues

We all enjoyed seeing Oshie on the ice, whether it was in blue or red. We cried watching his speech about his father after lifting the cup, and mourned his passing. He will be a prominent member of Blues history, now and forever.
What a career.
